one word for this picture: creepy.

Even though Liam Neeson looks about ready to take a dirt nap in this pic the movie was amazing. Me, Mel, and Shana went to go see it last night–I love it how three girls just head out to see Liam Neeson on a killing rampage. nothing like a good action movie to warm the coggles of your heart  lol.

but in all seriousness I really enjoyed this movie. Its shocking that girl trafficking actually still happens–which makes me sick. But I thought there was a lot of good acting and action going on : )

Plans

March 12, 2009

:::::::::so::::::::::::

classes end on the 18th for me but I’m basically done with all the big stuff now….that pretty much never happens to me.

I’ve decide I love doing arts stuff. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting back in to drawing with the art class I took this quarter and am hoping to take another one in the spring.

I’m going to hawaii late may.

Im attempting to run a half marathon in july.

might take a class to learn to play the guitar.

I want to do a lot of stuff

me and mel’s motto: “well we might as well”

Yesterday:

February 3, 2009

I was very pleasantly surprised twice yesterday, involving grades.

surprise one: I received an A on my history test that I just threw together with skilled procrastination. And lets be honest, I probably didn’t deserve the grade. It’s been a good long while since I have actually put a lot of effort into a school project/assignment of any sort.

surprise two: I found out that my art teacher is a pretty easy grader, I was a little worried because I wasn’t happy with my work and because my teacher seemed  like a decent teacher he would agree with me. But apparently  he’s all about the A for effort….soooo yay!

Loved this….

art class

January 22, 2009

so I signed up for a drawing class. I assumed that we would pretty much just draw pictures of basic stuff. But a lass we need to do things like this…

174px-cup_or_faces_paradoxsvgexcept more intense and all sorts of creative……..yeah I don’t do that. when did art class become hard and involve thinking?!?! anyone? anyone? I like copying pictures and trying to make them look as realistic as I can, that is what I consider art. but oh well I just gotta work hard i suppose-something that I tend to avoid) However, beside the thinking the class seems to be pretty good.

agenda 4 today…..

work, running (for the first time in forever), talk to the rents about chico plans, home work, bills, grocery shopping, and then falling asleep to Alias : )

our new president

January 20, 2009

It’s official Obama is president, and Im a republican……..sad. But oh well I’m sure he’ll do fine and not like I pay too much attention anyway ( I should probably work on that) but I will pray for our country and hope for the best : )

I would love it if the weather would decide to be decent sometime in the near future cause I’ve been wanting to go hiking or even just go outside for a walk…..anything!!! I see the sun break through here and there, which I’m thankful for, but I’m just itching to be outside.

Im taking three classes this quarter: Macro Econ, U.S. History, and a Drawing class–Im pretty pleased with all three teachers which is quite surprising : )

Me and Mel go swing dancing tuesday nights and it is surprisingly fun! and yes, quite random also : )

we finally move our christmas tree………..but it made it only just outside our apartment door. lol poor neighbor. Slowly but surely our apartment is coming together and we’re finally putting stuff up on the walls woohoo!! we think that by the time our lease is up and we move to chico we will finally have everything where we want it.

I wan2 start running……yeah we’ll see how that goes…….

I miss sports in general

Question: Why don’t most churches emphasize witnessing to others and sharing the Gospel with nonbelievers anymore?

-do we believe that people will come to know christ simply by looking at how we live? I can see how it helps but shouldn’t people hear it too? Is that part of the reason people in this time aren’t really being persecuted for their beliefs? because we just keep the truth to ourselves as though they don’t deserve it.

I’m just wondering because I’ve gotten to a point where I just keep my faith to myself and try to make it so I don’t offend anyone, and I’m starting to realize the selfishness in that….so just throwing that out there.
