Cake disaster!!

the cake I was telling you about earlier that me and liz were making………..yeah……..didn’t turn out so well. It looked great until we made the frosting too runny and, although thick enough to stay on the cake for the most part, the rest of it ended up dripping over the plate that the cake was on forcing us to put it on a cookie sheet so that it wouldn’t get everywhere. Plus the fact that even though the cake had only two layers-nothing special-the top layer was sliding off the bottom. in short it looked hilarious. However we still held out hope for this sad looking cake. Hoping that the wonderful taste would redeem the hideousness of cake………not in the least!!! It tasted awful…………..so we brought it to my parents and there it remains with the one pretty hefty slice cut out of it that we had such high hopes for, with our massive glasses of milk standing by at the ready……………..yet it turned out a disaster!

soooo I love all the jane austen movies!! and I’ve only once tried to read one of her books but as always I tend to get distracted if it’s not a totally ridiculously nerdy scifi or fantasy book. But I am trying again and this time I think I might be hooked!! Starting of course with P&P and who knows what will come next.
